Acid Free Policy

Dangerous chemicals have been used to clean cars for decades. Mainly, hydrofluoric acid has been used in many car washing applications due to its affordability. Although it is a cheaper product, it has also been linked to harmful effects for employees and the environment. It can burn through employee’s skin and be harmful to the environment by contaminating soil, groundwater, surface sediments and even drinking water. Many car washes (an estimated 50% or more) still use hydrofluoric acid even though it harms their employees and the environment to try and save a quick buck.
